Celebrate 150 years of community! The Village of Mount Kisco and Mount Kisco
Historical Society invite all to visit the Village’s Downtown District on Saturday, May 31 and
Sunday, June 1, 2025 to mark Mount Kisco’s Sesquicentennial celebrating the 150th
Anniversary of incorporation as a community. A full schedule of family fun activities has
been planned for this two-day event highlighting Mount Kisco’s journey through history and
celebrating the diverse and tight knit community that Mount Kisco is today.
Mount Kisco’s Sesquicentennial Celebration Weekend Schedule of Events
Saturday, May 31, 2025
10am: Dedication of Will Jennings Garden (Lieto & Gato Drive)
11am: Sesquicentennial Opening Ceremony on the steps of Village Hall
Hon. Mayor Michael Cindrich and Mount Kisco Historical Society President Ralph Vigliotti will be launching this sure-to-be memorable weekend in celebration of the 150th Anniversary of Mount Kisco incorporation (1875-2025).
12pm - 4pm: MK150 Community Day Trolley Tours & Exhibits at Village Hall Green at Fountain Park
Historic Trolley Guided Tours (Advance ticket reservation required) Book a ride through Mount Kisco history on specially curated tours led by the Mount Kisco Historical Society. Trolley Tours courtesy of the Mount Kisco Chamber of Commerce
Historic Mount Kisco Post Office Exhibit – Get a glimpse back to the 1930’s and view original wall murals preserved in the vestibule of Mount Kisco’s early century post office
MK Community Exhibition with Live Entertainment – Make sure to visit the meaningful organizations and people that make Mt. Kisco tick! Over 30 community groups and non-profit organizations will be present to greet visitors and share information on their mission and history.
12pm: Community Sing-Along with Dr. Mike and Dr. Sue--an intergenerational sing-along featuring two original Mt. Kisco songs. Groups joining: MKES students, Fox Senior Center, and our FTPK Homeschoolers.
1pm: Guy Tino Local guitarist performing classic songs.
2pm: Green Room Music Community Student performances.
3pm: Fox Lane A Cappella Group
3:30pm: Performance by the Ten-88 Band
4pm - 8pm: Food Truck Festival by MK Recreation to benefit the Leonard Park Fund
A foodies delight and benefit for the Park Fund! Find a great line up of Food Trucks cookin’ for a family fun night out with delicious eats, music, games and entertainment for the kids. Located Village Hall Lot near Library.

Event for Sunday, June 1, 2025
2pm: Mount Kisco ‘s Sesquicentennial Celebration Grand Parade
Cheer on the marching bands, community organizations and regalia along the Sesquicentennial Parade route from East Main Street (at Moore Ave.) through the downtown and along South Moger Avenue. MK150 Parade sponsors include the Ancient Order of the Hibernians Div 16, Northern Westchester Hospital Center and the Village of Mount Kisco.
3pm – 6pm: Community MK150 Anniversary Party
All community is invited to the MK150 Celebration Party! Gather after the parade behind Village Hall and along the beautiful Branch Brook for food, fun games and entertainment. Cool off under the hospitality tent with refreshments courtesy of The Mount Kisco Lions Club, Mount Kisco Rotary Club and Mount Kisco Volunteer Fire Department. Participate in field games for all ages kindly coordinated by Village Staff and the Boys& Girls Club of Northern Westchester. Enjoy music by the Reservoir Road Band courtesy of the Mount Kisco Arts Council.
